Busan Sky Capsule Train: Complete Booking Guide & How to Get Tickets When They’re Sold Out

Hey! I’m heading to Busan in 2026!

While booking tickets for the Busan Sky Capsule online, I made a silly mistake — so I decided to quickly write up this step-by-step booking guide. Hopefully it helps you secure your preferred time slot without any hassle!

📌 Before You Head to Busan, Here’s What I Always Book First…
Sorting out airport transfers, SIM cards, activities and accommodation in advance makes everything so much smoother.

How to Book on the Official Website

First, head to the official website: Haeundae Blueline Park. The site defaults to Korean when you first visit.

If you have a Korean phone number, you can book using the Korean interface. If not, switch to English — this way you won’t be required to enter a local phone number later.

Since I was only booking the Sky Capsule, I clicked directly on Sky Capsule.

Riding Tips

The Sky Capsule operates between just two stations: Mipo Station and Cheongsapo Station. A one-way ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

If you want an unobstructed ocean view with the sea right beside you, depart from Mipo heading toward Cheongsapo — that side faces the water directly.

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out

If the official website is fully booked, you can also reserve through KKday or Klook!

KKday is directly synced with the official site, so you can book a specific date and time slot — though availability opens slightly later than the official site. Klook sells admission tickets only; you’ll still need to reserve your time slot separately on the official website, and capsule size options may be limited.
